Before The Sun Goes Down
Before the sun goes down
Before the moon shines bright,
I’ve got to find some method, a way,
To get me out of sight.
To get me away from them,
To get them away from me
For I don’t know the troubles I’ll cause,
If any of them should see.
This monster I become.
This monster I must hide,
White skin, sharp fangs, bright beauty,
Thirst in my dark eyes,
The thirst for their warm blood,
It’s a thirst I can’t deny,
So I must leave my town, my home,
Unless they are to die.
Before the sun goes down,
Before the moon shines bright,
I must get out of this place,
And leave behind my life.
To leave it all behind,
And to finally accept,
Responsibility for my crime,
So I must be on my way,
Before I’m out of time.
Before the sun goes down,
Before the moon shines bright,
I must say goodbye to you,
For you surely were my life.
