Pen and Sword
“The pen is always mightier than the sword…”
But the author always needs to remember,
That one day, the pen will run dry…
And alas the battle of power and the mind shall,
Yet again,
Be considered won…
But is this the true way it should end?
We do not believe it is,
But what are we to do?
We cannot help,
For we are just children and adults…
Just simple people…
Who are we to interpret who
Was meant to be the true
Winner of this accursed battle…
The battle that shall forever go on,
And never ever die
Or even begin to fade,
Even if we all plead with all our might,
This war shall
Never end…………
At least,
That’s what we think…
