Snowflakes
Melting so fast,
Yet staying so long.
Examines them just to see their detail, their beauty.
Light and fluffy,
Soft and white,
Cold, but certainly not cold-hearted.
She cradles them in her purple gloves,
She can just sit there and watch them drift to the ground, all day.
Spring is her least favorite season,
Because that is when she must say farewell to her beautiful best friend,
“Until next time, if we’re lucky.” She says while she comforts her half-melted pal.
