I stood by your coffin,
as your mother cried,
it's just not fair....
I stood by your side,
when you were alive,
it's just not fair....
I stood by you when you were scared,
that night at the bridge,
it's just not fair....
I stood beside you when you screamed,
when we all jumped off,
it's just not fair....
I stood beside you in the water,
I should have known,
it's just not fair....
That I live,
And you're gone.
