break-down the barriers that protect my soul,
and release the shadow that hides.
chase away the pride that pulls the curtains down,
and kiss the sun as it says goodbye.
whispher your secrets that eat at your dreams,
and relieve yourself of all your lies.
cry over the tears that roll off your pillow,
and gaze right past my cloudy eyes.
you say you've moved on and things are getting better,
that your finally on solid land.
but how come whenever times get hard or tough,
you always reach for my hand?
