Let's Soar

I watch you soar above me
And I long to go to where you are
But I have no wings of my own
So here I stay looking up at you
Loving you from where I stand
As you soar through the beautiful sky
You swoop down and take me
You bring me up and show me
What it is like to be in your world
Oh how I long to be stay there with you
As the air fly’s over us
I grow wings of my own
I soar next to and we race up and up
We’re going to make it
Now we are at the same level
Together in the sky flying forever
