Did I cause your problems; Then don't tell me about them!

A few hours before the new day
All worries have gone away
One hour before May
Here comes a blue jay
Can you hear him chirping away

Not a single sound
No one is around
Light is nowhere to be found
The clock goes round and round

No sounds, not a single peep
Waiting for your clock so you can leap
This time makes you want to weep
Maybe I'll count some sheep
WHY CAN'T I GET TO SLEEP

Just remember the ultimate rule
Sleep is the ultimate tool
Right before you go to school
So don't be a fool
Because sleep is the way to keep your cool

I always wake up right before my alarm goes off. Then I can't get back to sleep and I wrote about this time.

Both poems utilize some interesting rhymes, but I would have to say that rhyming takes away from the meaning of this poem. It almost like you are struggling for something to use to rhyme with the next word. But nevertheless, it is still good.
