Favorite Quote:
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
-Lance Armstrong

Alone, no not alone, but it feels like that.
Wondering if I will ever go to SCAD.
Whatever does the future bring?
I fill black and white with coloring.

Angry, no not really, but it seems that way.
Each trial I must overcome every day.
What will my lost temper cause?
My hands, burnt, are wrapped in gauze.

Happy, very happy, fills me up to the brim.
Doing whatever on any random whim.
How can this emotion be so great?
There is nothing I need to contemplate.

Desolation, so depressed, it wears me thin.
Painting out the light till I'm black from within.
How can there be so little life left?
It's stolen everything, this black hole in my chest.

Calmidity, it seems, has it under control.
From the tips of my toes to the heart of my soul.
When will crisis suddenly come?
I'll be ready for what needs to be done.

Emotion, itself, is such a complicated being
Changing, consuming, and haunting everything.
But, without it, what would humans be?
Nothing at all, for as you can see-

Emotion is the essence
Of everything.
