Friend
In ninth grade he was always mean to me,
We would bicker and gripe at each other,
Geometry was the one class we shared,
And in it we would prod one another,
The end of the year came and we parted,
A long year spent apart, or was it short?
Then we went to the same school yet again,
We had both changed though and we became friends,
Sending messages through our computers,
We still talk late at night, just as friends do.
