She came just in time,
Right before I got so twisted up that I couldn’t get out of my bind.
Words flowed through her and poured into my heart.
God placed her there from the very start.
I was in a ship that was destined to sink,
Her hands pulled me out before I could blink.
Into God’s studies she gained his mighty courage
Even though her task was hard, she was never discouraged.
Day after day her intentions were repeated,
Her mind was set but not conceited.
She had one goal and gave it her all,
Her dream was to catch me as I would fall.
Building me up and keeping me strong,
On the right path she led me all along.
A selfless act is what she portrayed,
Sometimes her answers were a few days delayed.
An average girl who saw past my pain,
Encouraged me to trade my problems for God’s peaceful gain.
Blaming herself as the reason for my stray,
She couldn’t sit back and watch me throw my life away.
Pleading each and every night,
Her prayer asked God to show me his light.
Certain and positive she was sent from above,
Her creator designed her to be free like a dove.
To watch over my life and keep me from getting tangled,
Her destiny was to be my guardian angel.
