The only diamond worth having
January 14, 2010
Pull the lose thread on my sweater;
it won’t matter if you don’t,
we’re tearing at the seams anyways.
Though,
its fabled life is but a dream.
Hold my hand while I sleep.
The others simply,
slid broken glass over my fingertips-
And I don’t mind because
the only diamond I need is you.
