Butterfly MAG
i saw a butterfly
on the window. wings
fluttered
struggled
against the glass.
delicate wings, frail
insect body
so fragile.
when you live for so short
a time, why do you
flit though life
without a care?
are you happy, butterfly?
do flower petals
fulfill you?
do you cry, butterfly,
when it comes time to die?
when
the wings cease to flutter
against the icy glass?
