Forgotten
For years I've thought you had died
Millions of memories of laughter and happiness washed down as I cried
As you sleep in your grave, so does my heart.
It broke me inside the more we were apart.
For years and years I walk on the Earth with a broken soul
Only to find out you were alive and I finally felt whole
Years of sorrow mend it self and light returns to my eyes.
I look at you and I finally say "Hi"
Only you turn to me and look into my eyes just to say "I'm sorry, do I know you?"
Everything shatters, everything breaks, what to do, I had no clue
He promised he'd never forget
Yet here we were and it's like we never even met
