hidden between the roads
Standing between the roads
Her mind is going slow
Surrounded by light,
But the sorrow won the fight.
The bitter wind
Is all that she feels.
And visions of past
Make her heart so still
Her sight becoming dim,
So she falls to her knees
The cars racing past,
Give the bitterest chill.
Her silent scream echoes
covered in a man's shadow
he kneels down and holds her tight
nothing left of this night
together they are twinned
not sure what is real
not sure if the love will last
maybe he won't leave.
maybe he will.

I am living a much happier life now so I can now look back on this and see myself at my worst moment and know things got better
