Waiting
And so she sits alone
Waiting and waiting to get out of this heat
Checking the clock
No time has gone by
As the cars drive by
She looks out for her ride
Even though she knows and knows
She still has awhile to wait
She wishes that the time would fly by
That it would already be time to leave
But she knows that there isnt a chance of that
Under this scorching sun
