Colorful Changes
Colorful Changes
There are reds, oranges, purples, and yellows
A long procession or parade of colorful fellows
Early in the year they are so green
Later on, their new tints are seen
Like Apollo changes the dark to light
These tiny pieces become so bright
These little pixies will eventually fall
Unable to hold on to something so tall
They spiral down, landing in the dirt
Around the tree like a vibrant skirt
Walking around and find them on the ground
Their intense shades are beginning to brown
Next year, their colors are going to arrive
Then from a tree they will gracefully dive
This process will happen forever and more
What a beautiful sight, the years have in store
