What Is To Come, Shall Be My Enemy
Sitting on the edge
Watching the white moon
Watch it rise in the skies
In the middle of the night
I look to the clouds, and the moon,
And the stars, and the soft green grass
I look at the whole world
Because it could be my last day
My last day being here
The night carries me through
As I’m dreaming of you
And it’s killing me now
Because I know this is real
Only they know how I feel
I shouldn’t have to do this
You should have been there for me
Time is slow
As I wait for the day
The road of anger
It’s right this way
Well I’m here for now
In the black of night
Waiting
For that sun to arrive
Time has come to be
Red,
like my enemy
Just waiting for the light
I am so tired
So tired
This dream
Will fade to white.
