It is amazing how we are all
so fake.
Though know one really believes it,
we continue to put on
an act.
I dunno, maybe it's just me,
that's the world I see.

God gave us eyes
to see who our true friends are.
And see through
the shiny plastic
of everyone else.
Personally, why even try
to hide behind that stupid disguise?

You think you know someone.
Then you see how
shallow they really are.
Of all the things you pretend to be,
you choose that?
If it was me,
that's somethin I wouldn't be.

Real people are hard to find.
But harder to let go.
So keep them close,
because you never know
when they'll be gone.
