As I breathe hot air on the window
A blank drawing board appears before me.
I must act quickly,
For this vacant canvas of fog will not last long.
I cannot decide what to etch,
And time is running out.
I finally decide on a simple hello
Right as the vapor disappears from view.
And I'm left to stare out the window
Wondering what could have been.

Wow! That was an intensely clever poem. The descriptiveness really captured me, and enticed me to read on. I particuarly like how you metaphorically compared the opportunity that you get when you fog up a glass surface to a "blank drawing board", because, in a sense, that is exactly what it is. I also enjoyed the fact that you ended the poem with the vapor disappearing and the prase, "Wondering what could have been.", because I found myself doing exactly that- wondering what really could have been created and imagined on the so called drawing board. I would definately give this poem five stars. You earned it.
