Room full of friends,
All there till the end,
Yet still I feel so alone,
Staying unknown.
I hide the truth
Behind a mask,
So no one knows about the past,
Or sees the real me.
My life is like a joke;
only, it’s not funny.
I usually try to rhyme
But that’s just sometimes.
Now I’m just filling the lines,
But, why all the lies?
Because I have to hide the truth,
I don’t like to complain,
I just hide the pain,
Or is it the shame?
No one will ever know.
Not even me.
We’re all just more players
In the game called life.

My name is Stephanie i'm 17 years old. I've been writing on my own since i was about 14. I write to express my feelings, sometimes from others perspectives. I chose to enter this one because i think everyone can look at it and understand and feel what it is about, everyone has problems and it's just life.

At 17, young lady, you have done very well. You express the feelings of most of humanity, if they dared to express at all. Job well done!
