No one consulted a watchmaker or even the local blacksmith
when it came time for our family to coalesce into existence.
No legal consultant was paid to ensure that when the square peg
could not manage into the circular hole, there would be a full refund.

It had always been a Do-It-Yourself kind of project and
we grabbed all the cheap glue we could find and smashed the gears into place.
One of the gears is always turning, but only because the others are going in a different direction.
It's survival of the fittest
We keep the flame on high even when the gas is on low
It'll be that way forever,
My family and I.
