The sight is clear.
The scene was soiled.
It’s come down to this.
Within my time of need, no one reached.
Blood filling blind spots.
My room an empty canvas to paint with penance.

This piece of mine was inspired by my mentality in a recent period within my life. I had gotten to a degree of mental deterioration where I felt utterly hollow. Multiple occurrences had plagued my mind and it just festered and festered. Ultimately I discovered that creating this piece and other alike brought forth a somewhat joyous feeling. Lifted my spirits, if you will.
