the warmth of a new friendship
the sweet innocence in our hearts
knowing it never lasts
all felt in the touch of chai
the best of my memories
all the best times with close ones
nostalgia fills my lungs,
all smelt in the aroma of chai
the embrace of a mother
the shield of a father
the companionship of a brother
all known in the sip of chai.
