Why does it appear -
that the sun is always setting,
the moon never sheds its light
and the stars never come out to dance.
The joy that once was,
is now a distant memory.
It has been crushed by once-loving hands
and is now pieced by temporary bandaids.
The suffocating
and
sinking feeling,
of drowning above water
deluges the sculpted figure.
Da dum.
Da dum.
Dum da - da dum.
Flatline.
