The Sincere Truth

I rise out of bed each morning smiling,

ready to complete another busy day.

My life is a constant cycle.

Wake up, go to school,

work, homework, time for bed.

I enjoy being busy.

Whether this is with school, work,

or spending time with others.

I walk through the halls,

with a smile on my face,

excited for my classes.

I like to let people see that I am happy.

I want to make their day a little better

by seeing a smile on my face.

I wave in high spirits,

showing that I am glad to be at school.

My friends would describe me as positive and talkative.

I am a helpful friend. People look to me for advice.

Even sometimes, a shoulder to cry on.

It would be nice to have someone like this in my life.

I rise out of bed each morning frowning,

dreading to complete another busy day.

My life is a constant taxing cycle.

Wake up, go to school,

work, homework, time for bed.

I force myself to be busy.

Whether this is with school, work,

or spending time with others.

I rarely find time for myself.

I walk through the halls between classes,

with a forced smile on my face, unenthusiastic for the next class.

My friends would describe me as positive and talkative.

I am a helpful friend. People look to me for advice.

Even sometimes, a shoulder to cry on.

I try with all my might,

to put my best foot forward in these situations.

I attempt to show others that I am living a happy life.

I attempt to shine a light of happiness on others.

It would be nice to have someone like this in my life.

Taking care of me, as I do them. Everyday.
