Autumn

Walking out the door,
Smelling the fall leaves and feeling the
crisp autumn air nipping at your ankles.
I walk down the street,
Watching cars speed by and neighbors
Blowing leaves out of flower beds.
The colored leaves fall, people eating
Soft, fluffy, cinnamon donuts, washing it
down with a steamy cup of apple cider.
Opening a book, sitting in a hammock,
listening to leaves russel in the wind,
All components of autumn.
Nice adventures, getting ready for the transition
Into the cold, cold months.
Walking out the door, fresh crisp autumn air.
