Dear Brother

My mind bears no fruit in your absence.
Although my muse is not of love-
Worlds of thoughts rise only in your fragrance.
And without you, my dear brother-
All I write is of longing and despair.
So my love, hear me and may you live-
Soon, of bitter spite will be my prayer.
Perhaps, if God wishes us apart-
He may feel the burning anger of our heart.
To seal his power in the sand-
For greater worlds do we command.
