The Circus

Black and white sparkles are all around

Inside of the rotten jello body of a jaded frail

It’s a cloud of whipped cream

That’s pouring straight down

The resting face being enhanced by poison

The madhouse is hard to resist.

Offered the sizzling, popping pop-corn

Fluffy, lollipop pink and blueberry blue cotton candy

That good, sugary, homemade lemonade seems like it’s smiling at you

It’s just a ticket

An invitation down the tiger hole

Pretty poison it is

Yet everyone has a little basket filled to the top with tickets like red riding hood

Spending it like unlimited cash

Playing all the video games

And buying the food of happiness

Watching an act of tigers performing tricks

Satisfies the perfect group of frail's

Not realizing that they’re eyes will be spinning in their sleep at night

For a while you’re left like an ugly duckling pinata

Your mental issues fill your body with dullness

A storm is above your head

Causing all the emotional outbreaks you hate

Each drop is a lighting stab to the heart

You keep your lips from expanding

That’s due to the failed brain cells

So many things feel like they aren’t going your way

And you get greeted with toxic people day by day

You have to keep your eyes on the prize though

The priority of getting better

And realizing the karma for these people is reassuring

Ignore all the pretty poison

And the picture perfect popular girls

Just focus on you

One day at a time

And the rainbow sparkles will light on

Inside of the freshly jello body of a smiling teenage girl
