3 Stanzas poem

At school like a normal day,
Come home to see my mom holding the collar of my best friend, my furry little treasure was gone
At the time I was only 6, so my memories are vivid, but I know that I loved him. His name was champ and he had brown smooth fur
Lady, my second dog, was never the same once champ died.
It was like they had a unique bond, like best friends
