Acquainted With The Night

I have been one acquainted with the night
The late night work shifts
Many times a week
The quiet highways I use to get home from my friends that is far
The darkness through the window when I’m up studying
With that being said
I’m also acquainted with the morning
Waking up early to go to school
The early morning drives to work on the weekend
I am one acquainted with all times of the day
I am one not so acquainted with sleep
I am one acquainted with the night
