Relief in the house of horror
Relief surrounded by screams and cries
A pause in terror
A pause in paranoid pacing
Marching towards the inevitable
Sickly excited for the break in tension
Shoo that away, now is your only chance
Your window to take in the pain
Wait and you’ll miss it
It’s not fair
A mother lost
A ghost banished
A home a tomb
A wound open but without rot
Persisting infection
