Reality
I moved to this island a while ago.
It’s small, like a worned out blanket.
The island is covered with moss, green and oily.
It was hard to fall asleep last night.
I'm not sure if it was a cat or a dog,
Barking all night.
I wasn't afraid,
My mind is just breathing hard.
There were echoes all the time,
The echo from my heart.
They run down the bloodstream to my heels.
To my fingers,
They flow up to my brain.
In this way,
They take control of my mind.
Luckily,
Dawn came and,
It was no longer noisy.
It's time for me to get a good night's sleep.
I moved to this island a while ago.
It's small, like a blanket.
A blanket that can only wrap around my body.
This morning,
I jumped off the island and,
It wasn't an island.
It was a rock,
It was a rock in a puddle of dirty, dirty mud.
