Beach dream
Leave your worries by the shore line,
And run your asymmetrical bare toes through the sand.
Let the water be as delicate as soft baby skulls,
When you cannot bear to stand.
Make friends with pelicans and seagulls,
And hold the moon up on your palm.
Before you swim in the water,
Where the world is so tranquil and calm.
Tell the fish all your issues,
As they all come swimming past.
They’ll hand you the ocean’s tissues,
So many colours of coral it will make you gasp.
Let the water hold your problems while letting it throttle,
And wash it right out to the sea.
So like a message in a bottle,
All your worries are set free.
And the sea might make you feel in an alone repose,
But the world has troubles too.
For how else do you suppose,
That the ocean got so blue?
