Summer Adventures
Summer's here, the air is warm,
Birds are singing, flowers adorn,
Blue skies stretch out, the sun shines bright,
A season of pure and pure delight.
The days are long, the nights are short,
A time for adventure and all sorts,
Picnics in parks, trips to the beach,
Summer's treasures, within our reach.
Kids run wild, with no school to attend,
Parents take a break, and time to spend,
Families unite, and friends reunite,
Summer's magic, shining so bright.
The smell of sunscreen, and freshly cut grass,
Ice cream trucks, and popsicles, a summertime pass,
Bare feet on the sand, a dip in the pool,
Summer's wonder, it's nature's jewel.
As the sun sets, and the stars come out,
Summer's warmth lingers, without a doubt,
A season of joy, that always delivers,
Summer's essence, will stay with us forever.
