Flowers
Inspired by “La Figlia che Piange” by T.S, Eliot
Her strong will to keep moving through the loved ones that lay
Hair curled and pinned back still found its way back in front of her face
Over time it all leaves but time takes too long
Her strong will to keep moving now fading away
Arms wrapped around the downhearted
And tears falling down
Her strong will to keep moving just wants her to drown
Arms turn to rose stems, stabbing her heart
Full of strong emotions that just tear her apart
Of all that she’s been through this was certainly the last because the
Flowers she brought for the loved ones that lay were now brought to her who’s now in a grave

This piece was something that I wrote to help cope when my friend passed away. I've finally built up the courage to share it with the world and I hope you enjoy.
