when you try to cut people out

and you’ve leaned on them

but they’ve never really tried with you

it’s hard

its hard when they’re all you knew

and then you don’t know them anymore

because they’ve changed 

but they haven’t grown

when they’re taking steps backwards

and you can’t risk it

so you have to cut them out 

it’s hard

but you question if you should 

because you don’t want to imagine

a world without them,

a world without someone you never thought would have to go

and you really don’t want to take steps backwards

and you don’t know if you should do this or not

you start to freak out because

it’s hard

and you really don’t know what to do

you know you have people to go to 

but you can’t control your emotions anymore

and you’re actively freaking out

you consider hurting yourself again 

even though the whole point

is to not take a step backwards, but good Lord

it’s hard

when you freak out 

when you don’t know what to do

just breath

and do what you need to do

if you don’t know what it is

it’s what you’re freaking out about

and what makes you so anxious

because it may be the hardest thing you’ve ever done

or maybe it isn’t 

and maybe it’s going to be easy

or maybe you’ll tell yourself that

and you’ll start to suffocate

you suffocate

in your own lies 

so end the anxiety

and the pain

just end it all

not yourself

but end everything that’s stressing you out

because its hard

and you don’t deserve to feel like this
