I think I am a fairly hearty soup
With an array of vegetables
Carrots, Celery, Kale and the sort
A chili oil and scallion face
But where’s my base?
Would I be beef or pork or chicken?
Definitely not beet.
Probably a bit of each
What was the grade of the meat?
I can’t ask now
I never knew the cow.
Or the Pig or the Chicken.
Oh well
I’m just soup in the kitchen.
