You could say
You could say, I’m an actor,
With that big bright smile,
With those lying eyes that look at you,
You’d be completely fooled.
You could say, I’m a runner,
That just runs and runs until,
Those fears, that haunt me, catch up with me.
You could say, I’m a judge,
Because those eyes that fooled you,
Could also judge you without even noticing.
You could say, I’m a killer,
Because my hands that shake yours,
could also write something that will eventually,
kill your position in life.
You could say, I’m a taker and not a giver,
Because when you needed me most I wasn’t there,
But if it were the opposite you’d be there within a blink of an eye.
YOU COULD SAY
.
.
.
.
Nothing…
.
.
.
…And it would mean everything
.
.
.
.
Because you said it.
I've been called many things by people but silence is the worst.
