She starves like the moon
Who was once full and bright
She shrivels; smaller and slimmer
A body of hollow crescents and curves
It’s a shame she fades into a black night
Another month, Another moon,
Another Girl
Will cut away and fade to dark

This free verse poem is about eating disorders. This is something that I've seen many of my friends go through and it is an issue that needs more awareness.
