Call me

Under the blue moon

My face lit in a hue of

Sickly green and grey

I say little words of agreement

Too aware of the concrete steps

I sit atop

As the phone pressed

Against my ear

Transmits the voice of someone

Hundreds of miles away

The streetlight at the end of the driveway

Looks my way and

Flickers as a response

The moon peers over

The trees

It clearly agrees with the

Assessment the light has given

And here we sit

Under the unseeable sky

Listening towards an inconceivable voice

Bathed in the hue of the box

I live my relationships through

This poem describes a little memory I remember vividly, fictionalized into more of a story.
