an early summer’s eve
blueberries bringing our bodies back together
she dims the lights of the globe
pushing the sun off the edge of the earth
wrapped in a cloak of nylon adoration
we flutter in a world of our own
sweet air carries lust through the trees above me
sprinkling her down into my arms
