Death Flower
Inside the garden
of the youthful lullabies,
lay the holiest of sins.
the wisteria petals adorn the garden
with the tainted scent of despair.
the field that drowns in Vermillion,
filled with jubliant youth;
vanishes- withers
when the corpse blooms.

As a teenager, I am avidly watching some sort of television show and this poem alludes to some of my favorites such as Violet Evergarden, The Promised Neverland, and Demon Slayer. These shows speak of the tragedies of death and how sufferable it can be in life sometimes but there could always have a positive outcome. However, my poem is mostly dark with no positive ending because life is not always so fortunate for people and that fact is something that should be acknowledged.
