"Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires" - Macbeth

In the greenest of fields

Under the brightest sunshine

A girl skipped

Through a life that was divine

In an innocent happiness

In the bliss of a girl

She lived a dream

The dream of our world

Butterflies

With the lightest of wings

Flew around the girl

As she sings

We all wish her the best

As she lives through this gift

The gift we all share

This life through which we drift

Hi, I'm Lisa! This is the final poem in my little three-poem anthology, which is about the fantasy/dream of enjoying those little moments of beauty and innocence in life. The other two poems are called Girl in the Moonlight and Girl in the Sunset. Thank you for reading my poem!
