ONCE A BLESSING……
White, serene beauty everywhere,
Huge icy mountains, home to thousands of species,
Scenery so pure, it gives me chills,
But it was all millions of years ago,
Now It’s just floating icy chunks
Once so intimidating, now is a sight of pity
Once a fascinating element, now a victim of our actions
Polar bears, arctic fox, whale, all cry for help
But we remain selfish and tone-deaf as ever
Maybe a ray of sunshine will rise
Maybe we will not remain blind
Let's rise to the occasion
Let's avoid losing an aesthetic landscape feature
