When can we see each other?
We´re thousands of miles apart.
Wonder how my days would be if your notifications never popped up.
I wait for your response.
You answer with a paragraph.
We talk about our favorite books and films.
We talk about the world.
I put my phone down so I can think.
Long-distance relationships never work.
They probably don´t even like me.
We´re just friends, right?
The sound of my ringer brings me joy when I see that it is you.
You tell me you have something to say.
You say that it´s important.
You tell me you asked your crush out, and they said yes.
I pretend I´m happy for you.
I wish we were more than internet friends.
