I saw a man leaning against the tree
In front of my house.
I've never seen him before
And I'm not sure I'll ever see him again.
I saw a man smoking a cigarette
On the sidewalk around the pond
Hiding behind a patch of trees.
I don't know him but I've seen him around.
I heard the noises of children
As I rode around the pond.
But as I looked for them,
I couldn't find them anywhere.
