The ubiquitous modern commodity
the device that connects
not just in practice, but
across cultures,
across gender,
across beliefs,
across generations.

Simple rectangle
simple design.
Can do so much
to change the world.

With its many applications,
be it hardware or software
a modern's life
revolve around it
as Earth
and the planets
revolve around the sun.

So many rely upon it,
to our detriment and benefit.
