City lights
City lights, how glowy are they?
They give me hope in my darkest times
To find a way and pray
Read between the lines,
Try to understand
This very very mad world.
City lights, city stars,
Guide me through the dark,
Erase all the scars,
Erase all the marks.
City lights, help me live
Help me dive,
In the night, and still come out alive
To see the sunrise,
To have hope,
And hold on to a rope
That will help me continue
And then renew,
The whole page.
City lightss, city stars,
Just look out for me,
Hold me in this world a bit longer
And then I will sit by the sea
And thank my lights for making me stronger.
