He left us                             BOOM

     One minute              there, the next

               Gone.         The Earth

                opened   up,

                      A hole

                     the size

                      of you

                     Reached

                        out

                           its’ arms

               Pulled you        to the dirt.   

   The darkness                         took your       

   light away                                   We screamed        

      “Please                                      don’t go”

   We knew                                       you had to

 Time wasn’t                                   on our side                        

        Your light                            was burning          

                      Out               He loved        

                            Everyone,

His sarcasm                        lit up the room

We all know                        he is still here;

    Know he                        hears every

      sarcastic                     comment we   

       make; He                 left his light

                     inside of us.
