True Love
Standing in a swamp,
In the middle of the woods,
I saw him, standing there in all his beauty.
The way he towered overtop me.
The way he looked down at me.
The way his skin made everything green.
The way his ears waved and wiggled in the wind.
The way he screeched,
with a loud echoing voice,
“This is my swamp.”
At this point I knew
That it was,
True love.
